Concussion Baseline Testing

Description

A concussion is a disturbance in brain function caused by a direct or indirect force to the head, resulting in a variety of nonspecific symptoms. An estimated 3.8 million athletes will experience a concussion each year in the U.S., but many go undiagnosed. Baseline testing provides a multi-faceted foundation to evaluate your athlete throughout the season if a concussion (mTBI) may be expected. Baseline testing includes evaluation of symptoms, orientation, balance, cognition, memory, attention/concentration and coordination. A baseline test is valid for 1 year. If your athlete experiences a sports related injury/hit/trauma (etc.), come back for a comparative evaluation at no additional charge.
